Pigeons have become a large population on the streets of Singapore, and are considered ‘flying rats’ because of the large number of germs carried in their droppings. Singapore has implemented various measures to reduce the number of pigeons, such as trapping, poisoning, letting animals higher up the food chain do the killing, enacting laws, contraception, etc. However, all these series of actions have not done much to reduce the number of pigeons, but only increased the resentment towards them. Without realizing it, we have created edifices fit for pigeons, left behind a lot of leftovers, and called the once-pigeons messengers of peace. One can only temporarily fend off an already chaotic ecosystem by building a high wall of laws, one after the other.

This work conveys an ironic effect, such as the disregard for the law and human behavior that disrupts natural ecosystems.
