About me

Zhang Yaxuan typically creates works using mixed media, producing absurd and humorous pieces. Her inspiration mainly comes from observations of life and society, discussing the relationship between humans and nature, exploring the essence of things, and presenting them to the audience in an intuitive and simple way, making their thoughts become part of the work as well. Her works are particularly influenced by Conceptual art, strongly pursuing the meaning within the work while weakening traditional aesthetics. As an artist, her wish is to bridge the gap between the audience and art, creating art that everyone can understand.
